This one year full time campus-based course follows a scheduled and structured timetable. This program is delivered via face-to-face classroom teaching, group activities/tutorials and practical classes at our purpose-built training centre, located in Technology Park, in Bentley, WA. Students are required to attend our training centre 2 days a week followed by 2 days a week in a Veterinary Practice.  This schedule continues during the 4 school terms.

This two year part time program requires the student to attend classes one day a week following a scheduled and structured timetable. This program is designed for students who are unable to study full time due to work or family commitments but is able to attend classes at our training centre one day a week to receive the face-to-face classroom teaching and practical sessions delivered by our veterinary lecturers. Your practical training in a veterinary practice is timetabled according to your availability. This program would also suit those students who may already be employed in a veterinary practice in some capacity with access to support from the practice for your theoretical as well as practical training.

The Correspondence (Supported eLearning course) is for students who cannot attend our training centre and is a self-paced course with access to our online learning system and presentations from lectures delivered on campus at the time.  Students have up to 2 years to complete their qualification via this method. For your practical training, students will need access to a veterinary practice at certain times during their course.  This access must be arranged by the student prior to us offering you a place in the course.  If you are already working in a practice you will do your practical training in that practice.  If you do not have an arrangement with a practice, either as an employee or volunteer, then you will be required to locate one that will support your training.  We do have a package available to assist in locating and approaching a practice. Students may get all of their practical training in practice or attend some of our workshops to gain the skills and competence required in certain aspects of the course. Students can start any time of year subject to support from a Veterinary Practice.
