Examples of animal care related workplaces where you will need to demonstrate at least a minimum of 1 years’ experience to apply for veterinary nursing include:
- Animal shelters
- Kennels
- Catteries
- Sanctuaries
- Veterinary practices
- Pet shops
- Animal research facilities
- Other areas of animal care work where the student is completing tasks under supervision.
Unfortunately, caring for your own pets at home or hobbies and interests with animals is not adequate experience.
