Can I apply for the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing if I’m still completing the prerequisite?

For students studying ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care or ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services and looking to apply for ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing

If you are studying with AVT

Yes, if you are currently enrolled in and on track to complete your Animal Care related studies with AVT, you may submit an application for the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.

You will need to successfully complete your Certificate II or III before you can commence the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing course. For on-campus or blended learning students, completion must occur prior to the Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing course commencement date which is typically the same day as your Orientation Day.

If you are studying at another institution (including TAFE)?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept applications from students still completing their Certificate II or III with another provider. You would need to complete your qualification first, then apply.
