The latest data from the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER) highlights strong outcomes for AVT graduates, reflecting meaningful career progress, high levels of student satisfaction and continued success in employment after training.

- 86% are employed or in further study
- 61% improved their employment status after training
- 91% are satisfied with their training overall
- 86% would recommend AVT as a training provider
These results show that AVT continues to support students not just in gaining employment, but in building skills that lead to long term career growth.

These outcomes show that when training is practical, supported and aligned with industry needs, it creates genuine opportunities for students to succeed and progress in their careers.”
AVT supports a diverse range of students, from those entering the workforce for the first time to those already working in animal care or veterinary settings.
The 2025 data highlights that:
- nearly 80% of students were already employed before training, many of whom progressed into more advanced roles
- over a quarter moved into higher-skilled positions after completing their course
This reflects AVT’s role not only as a training provider, but as a pathway for career development within the animal care industry.

About the report
The VET Student Outcomes 2025 report was published by the National Centre for Vocational Education Research – Commonwealth of Australia (NCVER), the national body responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting on vocational education and training (VET) in Australia.
The data is drawn from the National Student Outcomes Survey, an annual survey of students who have completed nationally recognised training. Results referenced here relate specifically to qualification completers at Applied Vocational Training Pty Ltd.
