AVT achieves outstanding results in latest Student Satisfaction Survey

We’re proud to share the latest Student Satisfaction Survey results administered by the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) in Western Australia.

The survey was completed by Western Australian funded students who completed their studies in 2025 and provides a valuable insight into the student experience across both private training providers and TAFE colleges.

This year’s results highlight AVT’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality training, personalised student support and industry-relevant learning experiences. Across a range of key measures, AVT achieved results above the average of other privately owned training organisations offering DTWD funded courses in Western Australia.

AVT consistently outperformed the average of all other private providers in a majority of areas.

Key ratings include:

  • 96% satisfaction for quality of AVT trainers and instructors
  • 95% of students are likely to recommend AVT to other students
  • 91% believe it is likely their AVT course will lead to a job or career
  • 95% for physical safety and security measures
  • 98% for overall course satisfaction
  • 97% for AVT’s provision of information and student support
  • 99% for AVT’s reputation as a training provider

We're particularly pleased to see such strong results for our reputation, student support and overall course satisfaction. About the survey

The 2025 Student Satisfaction Survey was administered independently by the Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD).

The survey measures student perceptions of the quality of training and support provided by Western Australia’s TAFEs and training providers, helping organisations better understand the needs and experiences of their students.

Please note: “Others” indicated above refers directly to results of other Privately Owned Training Organisations in WA who offered DTWD funded courses in 2025.
