AVT Online Shop Policies and Fees

Online Shop Policies

We are committed to keeping our students and veterinary nursing community 100% happy. We will do everything in our power to provide you with products that you are delighted to own.

The following policies apply to physical products sold in our online shop at www.appvoc.com/shop. Our general student policies can be found here.

Returns, Exchanges and Refunds Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund or exchange your item if it is returned to AVT along with the original packaging within 21 days of receipt.

1. Faults

If you return an item because it is not working, has a defect, has stopped working due to fault not user misuse or is not working the way it was described in our online shop, you are entitled to an exchange or refund. If a product is out of stock a refund or exchange will be given.

2. Change of mind

If you change your mind or wish to seek a refund or exchange for other reasons than a fault, you must return the item within 21 days of purchase at your expense. You must also

  • Provide a copy of your proof of purchase,
  • Ensure the item remains in brand new condition. This means unwashed, unworn, unmarked and with tags and original packaging where supplied.

A refund will be given for the purchase price of the item, excluding postage/handling.

3. Incorrect fit

If you have ordered a uniform that does not fit, we will happily exchange the item for free (limited to one free exchange per item). Note the item must be in brand new condition. This means unwashed, unworn, unmarked and with tags and original packaging where supplied.

Postage & Handling

1. Order Processing

You can view our stock level on each individual product page above the ‘Add to Cart’ button. Some items are available for back-order. This means, you will be sent the item once it is in stock again. In some instances we will order these products specifically for you, therefore delivery time may take between 14-45 days depending on the item.

If the item is a stock item, we will process your order within two business days of ordering (excludes weekends). Freight usually takes between 5-14 days depending on your location and time of year.

2. Postage

Your item will be sent via Sendle or Australia Post.

Item costs are calculated at the time of checkout and we reserve the right to discuss and request additional postage fees for exceptionally bulky items.  In these cases, if you are not 100% happy with a revised shipping cost, we will provide a 100% refund (only available prior to shipment).

As a rule, small items are $9.95 flat fee, large items incur a fee of $13.95 and for each additional large  item a fee of $3/item will apply.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the land where our campus is based, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and we commit to walking alongside our indigenous brothers and sisters. We extend that respect to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders in our community.
