Understanding body language and low stress handling techniques for dogs and cats


In this session, Dr Lobry de Bruyn will join us on-campus to cover an informative and must-see session on body language in cats and dogs. She will also focus on how to become an expert in low stress handling and co-operative care in the veterinary clinic. Next workshop on:- Saturday 13th April 2019 from 9am-12pm. 
 
Dr Lobry de Bruyn has been in veterinary practice, helping dogs and cats, for 30 years. She is a Member of the ANZCVS in Veterinary Behaviour and pursues this passion through the teaching of Animal Behaviour (all species) to undergraduate vet students at Murdoch University, as well as running the private referral practice based at The Animal Hospital called Animal Sense. She is also a Member of the Australian Veterinary Association and the special interest group in Animal Behaviour.
 

About this workshop

Who is this Workshop ideal for?

This workshop is an intense session ideal for animal healthcare professionals including veterinary nurses and animal carers working in veterinary practice. It provides the foundations of canine behaviour and is therefore useful for Veterinary Nursing and Animal Studies students as well as industry professionals.

Workshop Fees

  • Early bird registration fee of $75 is available until the 8th April 2019 for current and previous AVT students. Please contact us if you have not yet received the early bird registration code. 
  • Full registration fee of $95 for applies to all other attendees (animal healthcare professionals) with bookings open now.
