Does completion of the ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care and ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care at AVT meet the entry requirement for Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE?

Yes – Both ACM20121 Certificate II in Animal Care and ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care completed with AVT are nationally recognised under the AQF. This means they are accepted across Australia, including as entry into the ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing at TAFE and similar colleges.

  • Just like AVT’s own ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, TAFE may set additional entry requirements (for example, workplace experience or minimum age), so please confirm directly with them.
  • Many AVT graduates continue into AVT’s Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing, where your AVT qualifications are seamlessly recognised.
