Dr Kate Radford

Veterinarian and Trainer & Assessor

Kate has been in the veterinary industry for over 25 years. After graduation she moved to Kalgoorlie where she treated a range of animals from dogs and cats to horses and alpacas. Since moving back to Perth Kate has worked in small animal practiced in the Northern suburbs and enjoys performing routine and more complex surgery on her patients.

Kate completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessing in 2023 as she discovered she really enjoyed running training sessions for the nurses in her clinic and watching them become more confident and capable nurses.

Kate will be starting out assessing but soon you will see her in classes as well teaching and training students.

She’s passionate about helping vet nurses become more confident and to improve their knowledge in the clinic.  She is very keen on teaching nurses to improve their Clin Path skills and surgical nursing skills.

Kate’s Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery (Honours)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
