Christine MacKenzie

Veterinary Nurse and Trainer & Assessor

Christine has worked for many years as a Head Veterinary Nurse and Veterinary Nurse in General Practice Veterinary Hospitals.

Christine’s role at AVT is to build and maintain relationships with our students and provide ongoing supervision and support throughout their studies.

Since starting with AVT, Christine obtained her qualification in Training and Assessing and now delivers our Intensive Certificate II in Animal Care, Veterinary Nursing Pathway course. Christine also teaches dentistry units to our Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing students.

Before working in the veterinary industry, Christine was a Dental Nurse for many years in London, UK and as a result, dentistry in animals continues to be one of her special interests.

Outside of work, Christine enjoys time with her pets and renovating her home.

Christine’s Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing,
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
  • Diploma in Dental Nursing
