Chelsea grew up in an animal loving home, having a range of pets from dogs and cats to rats and rabbits, and even a paddling of ducks. Chelsea was previously an AVT student where she completed her Certificate II Animal Care Vet Nurse Pathway, and Certificate III Animals Studies RSPCA.
Chelsea and her family worked alongside Greyhounds Adoptions WA, fostering, caring, and finding forever homes for ex-racing greyhounds.
Chelsea’s role as Animal Care Facility Coordinator at AVT includes all things animals. Being an animal lover at heart since she was a young age, Chelsea’s passion is to care for animals and to help those who wish to become a part of the animal industry. You’ll find Chelsea in our animal enclosures, guiding our students through the husbandry and care for our wide range of on-campus animals.
