After completing her Bachelor of Business Information Systems and Master of Finance in 2020, Heather moved into student-facing roles within education and government settings. She brings over three years of experience in student services, along with a calm, organised and thoughtful approach to supporting both students and staff.
Heather has a strong commitment to student wellbeing and success. She has worked closely with academic teams, managed student records and compliance processes, and supported students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds.
In her role as Student Support Officer at AVT, Heather works closely with both students and staff across multiple departments. She provides front-line support to current and prospective students, assisting with enquiries, enrolments, progress monitoring, and the maintenance of accurate student records. Heather aims to offer clear, consistent guidance throughout a student’s course, always approaching her work with patience, openness and professionalism.
Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with her beloved cat, Chess, and sharing quiet moments with her family.
