Everything you need to know about Group Interviews

Some of our courses include group interviews as part of the application process. These sessions are designed to help you learn more about AVT and give us the opportunity to get to know you better.

Group interviews are a valuable part of the selection process, allowing you to:

  • Visit our campus and experience the learning environment firsthand
  • Meet key team members and fellow applicants
  • Ask questions about the course, practical work placement and what to expect
  • Decide whether the course is the right fit for you

Here’s what to expect:

What is the structure of a group interview?

The session includes:

  • A group introduction
  • A Q&A session where you can ask about course content, placement, workload and more
  • A group activity designed to help us observe your communication and teamwork skills in a relaxed setting

How long will the group interview take?

You’ll need to allow approximately 1 to 1.5 hours (for some courses the session may run closer to 2 hours).

Where is it held?

Group interviews are held on campus at AVT.

What do I wear?

Please treat this as a formal interview and dress accordingly. We recommend neat, professional attire suitable for a workplace or interview setting.
