Kylie Patterson

Veterinary Nurse and Trainer & Assessor

Kylie has over 10 years’ experience working as a Veterinary Nurse and Manager in the Veterinary industry. Kylie was a graduate of Applied Vocational training and completed her studies via distance learning, whilst employed in a busy mixed animal practice in the Western Australian Wheatbelt.

After spending five years employed in the Wheatbelt, Kylie joined another mixed animal practice in the Swan Valley where she managed a large team of Veterinarians and Nurses, whilst still remaining hands-on with her nursing skills.

Kylie has completed additional nursing studies in pathology, emergency, surgical nursing and currently studies business, management and leadership. Kylie is still actively working in practice for one of Perth’s largest group of veterinary hospitals, Vetwest.

Kylie is passionate about providing support to our online learners. She has an understanding of the challenges associated with distance learning and loves to provide support and training to our students. Kylie has a passion for learning. She continues to remain up to date with the latest Veterinary nursing courses and continuing education.

Kylie’s Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing
