Anatomy and Physiology

Understanding Anatomy & Physiology Dissection Workshop - During this seminar you will be dissecting and examining animal specimens in order to understand and appreciate the complexity of the internal anatomy and physiology of the animal body. The next workshop is scheduled for Saturday 26th May from 9.00am-12.00pm at our Bentley Campus.

Included during this intensive completely practical session you will:

  • Identify, dissect and examine various anatomical structures and functions of the major body systems, focusing on the cardiovascular, respiratory and skeletal systems
  • Perform a whole body dissection to visualise and understand where all of the body systems are located in relation to each other and then carefully dissect and remove each system, taking advantage of this unique experience.
This workshop provides a fantastic opportunity for all Veterinary Nursing students to learn more about the animal body, allowing students to develop a deeper understanding of animal health.
