VETERINARY NURSE WANTED

The Ballajura nursing team needs another nurse to join them mid year in their busy small animal hospital. The position will start off as part time and will become full time before the end of the year.
We are busy, organised, consistent, on the ball and have a “can do” attitude. If you feel as though you will fit please send your CV and cover letter to admin@ballajuravet.com.au.
This position will suit a happy confident person that graduated up to two years ago, knows their way around the theatre and has an immaculate phone manner. You will also need a healthy sense of humour.
We are situated in the northern suburbs of Perth; we are in a family orientated demographic.
We open at 8.00am and close at 7.00pm with no appointment necessary for clients to visit. We have at least three (often four) vets and three to four nursing staff on duty each day. We also believe in reinvesting in the staff so offer a great internal training program for nursing staff, covering all aspects of patient and client care.
Everyone (the owner too) works alternate weekends but there are no after hours and a good spattering of days off during the week.
The hospital is well run with daily protocols that ensure unity, consistency and sustainability; it is well equipped and nursing staff are expected to maintain equipment to standard. We see a diverse caseload and try our hardest to provide best practice for our patients and clients.
We try to be the best we can, communicate well, work hard, reinvest in each other and the practice, support each other, laugh loudly and go home happy.

For 2011 graduates that are interested in our hospital, we would welcome your interest and consider your application for a full time position in the summer as we are growing rapidly and will require more staff.

Please visit our website www.ballajuravet.com.au for more information about us.
All correspondence will naturally be treated as confidential.
